ESPR destruction ban
Unsold apparel and footwear held by large enterprises may no longer be destroyed unless a derogation applies. Medium-sized enterprises follow from 2030.
We decide which route each piece takes, and we can prove it.

Reuse and repair come first. Only what cannot be worn again reaches material recovery.
Product reaches us from brand take-back schemes, retailer returns, charity collectors and industrial sorters. Every consignment is weighed in and given a lot number at the gate.
Each pair is inspected by hand and sorted into grades from like-new to beyond repair. Graders are trained on our own standard and re-tested. This step decides everything that follows.
Wearable footwear is packed by grade and exported to markets where demand is strongest. Reuse is the lowest-impact outcome for any shoe, and it is our first choice.
Pairs with fixable faults go to our repair and refurbishment unit, where soles, heels and stitching are restored to a wearable standard before returning to the reuse stream.
Unwearable product is stripped: soles separated from uppers, textiles pulled by cyclone, metals removed by magnet and eddy current. Rubber and EVA foam are granulated.
Granulate becomes tiles for gyms, playgrounds and running tracks, and acoustic panels. The mixed synthetic fraction is processed into refuse-derived fuel for cement kilns, replacing coal.
The reason brands destroy unsold stock is not waste; it is control. You set the rule for each consignment, and we document that it was followed.
Select a rule to see its route.
After every consignment you receive:
“The destruction of unsold consumer products… shall be prohibited.”
Brands now need a partner that can take control of the product, choose a lawful route and prove the outcome.

Directive (EU) 2024/825 applies from 27 September 2026: generic environmental claims without proof are banned.
Producer-responsibility schemes must be in place, with producers funding collection and treatment.
We own and run our facilities. No brokers, no subcontracted sorting. What we say happens to your product happens under our own roof.
Start with one pilot consignment of 1 to 3 tonnes, handled under your rule and fully reported. A human reply within two working days.
